I bought this trimmer because I wanted to get away from shaving with disposable razors due to extremely sensitive skin. When I decided to grow back my arm hair, I picked this product because of its different attachments and heads. I had planned to use this trimmer on my bikini area, underarms, my hands, and my big toes and it did exactly what I was looking for it to do. It shaped and trimmed the bikini area, and removed the hair under my arms, on my hands and fingers, and big toes. I have medium thickness hair under my arms and bikini area, and super fine hair on my hands and big toes. Between the trimmer head with the clips and the head for a closer shave this does exactly what I wanted it to do. It might not work as well if you have thick, dark, or corse hair, but for me it’s perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The head is literally about an inch in width, so you could use this on the face as well although it’s not practical to use on large surface areas like the full arms or legs but for trimming and shaving small areas, this is well worth the money and I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

The trimmer itself does a good job. It gets almost as close as when I've tried shaving. The battery has lasted a long time.The razor attachment is useless. It doesn't work. The length attachments were also disappointing. Mine came with 2 of the 3mm and no 5mm. I contacted amazon and contacted Philips directly and no one would help me with the replacement. They both referred me to the other. This is frustrating as I need the longer length to avoid irritation. I finally decided to just buy a new trimmer with the correct attachment, but it won't be this one again.
